
Manchester City had the better of the early stages of their game against Leeds, dominating the home side by pressing them high up the pitch. As a result Leeds found it difficult to pass out of defence while City were winning the ball in Leeds’ half.
It was difficult to keep this high pace up though and, after going ahead, City began to drop back into a mid-block.
