Aston Villa endured a torrid start to their Boxing Day clash against Liverpool.
They kept giving the ball away as Liverpool pressured them, and failed to make use of Lucas Digne despite the Reds leaving him free.
In the second half Villa finally perked up, with Digne key as they broke forward, stretching play and whipping in crosses from the left.
Digne wouldn’t touch the ball when Villa pulled a goal back, yet his threat proved key once again to Villa’s success.
